Across Detroit, families facing eviction are often forced to navigate a complex legal process without an attorney by their side. The Detroit Right to Counsel Coalition (DRTCC) is working to change that. DRTCC brings together community organizations, housing advocates, legal partners, and Detroit residents to advance the full funding and implementation of Detroit’s Right to Counsel Ordinance. Through education, storytelling, organizing, and community engagement, we are building awareness of the right to legal representation and the importance of keeping Detroit families safely housed.
