This free and informative “Enfranchised Power Teach-In”, will be about the Presidential Primary to help dispel the myth and misinformation that only members of political parties are eligible to vote; explain registration and voting processes of this primary; engage in dialogue about the importance of the Presidential Primary to Black women’s lives and livelihood; provide statewide and Detroit local stats on # of registered Black women voters, voter turnout, and potential for impact.
REPLAY! Wisdom Institute's Black Love Celebration
In celebration of Black Love Day, Wisdom Institute hosted a virtual Black Love Day experience on 2/17 to promote love and unity within the black community. This is time we intentionally set aside to celebrate self-love and gratitude for just being. On this day, people are encouraged to spread love through acts of kindness and appreciation towards yourself and others. So, on today, let's take the time to honor and recognize the power of self-love and self-care. We were joined and lead by our sister and healing thyself practitioner, Valeria Hazziez as well as the award-winning, multi-talented artist and entertainer, One Single Rose! Check out the replay!
